Tammy Eileen Kelley, 64, of Buchanan, formerly of Edwardsburg, passed away Saturday, August 3, 2024, at her home in Buchanan.

A memorial service will be held at noon on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at the Community of Christ Church, South, 110 Cleveland Ave., Galien, MI. A gathering will be held one hour prior, from 11 a.m. to noon, also at the church. Urn burial will be at a later date in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Buchanan. Memorial contributions may be made to the LaSalle Council, Boys Scouts of America, #165, 1340 S. Bend Ave., South Bend, Indiana, 46617. Tammy was born on July 20, 1960, in Buchanan, Michigan. She graduated from Berrien Springs High School in 1978 and then continued her education at Southwestern Michigan College. In 1979, she married A. Vaughn Armstrong and they had three daughters; he predeceased her. She later married Len J. Kelley, who preceded her in death in 2002.

Professionally, Tammy worked for several years as a nursing assistant at Cass County Medical Care Facility and then for several years at Brothers Bakery before injuring her back.

Tammy loved being outdoors, gardening, and animals. She especially enjoyed going to the zoo and bird watching. Her favorite times were with her family, and she loved her grandchildren and was proud to help raise them.

Tammy is survived by her daughter Katrina (Timothy, Sr.) VanDusen, her children Andrew Vankirk, Gavin VanDusen and Timothy VanDusen; her daughter Jilliann (Timothy) Morrow, her dog Buddy Morrow; her daughter Nichole (Joseph) Biggs, her children Ronin Biggs and Isabella Biggs; her stepmother Maryanna Christy; her stepson Michael Babcock and family; her stepson Len L. Kelley, his children Kennedy Kelley, Mirah Kelley and Julianna Kelley; her stepdaughter Diana Kelley-Ruiz and family; her siblings Paula (Arnold) Walker, Lyle (Valerie) Christy, Colleen (Ed) Kelley, Agatha (Dwayne) Shelton, Robert Christy and Maryjo Bridges; her great-granddaughter Amerianna Kelley.

She was predeceased by her father Lyle Christy, her mother Marita (Noble) Westveer, her first husband A. Vaughn Armstrong and her second husband Len J. Kelley.
