After the historic boost in Andhra Pradesh, Chandrababu Naidu has been proactive in his approach to improve the TDP in Telangana. In this regard, he has made a big statement today which is sure to attract attention everywhere.
Babu today visited the NTR Bhavan in Hyderabad and interacted with the TDP leaders in Telangana as part of the party’s revival there.
At this time, Babu made the big statement, “The TDP will come to power in Telangana soon. The TDP was once a celebrated political force in Telangana and we will bring back the good old days very soon. I am getting a lot of feedback from T-TDP leaders about the resurrection of the party here.”
Babu added that he would be available to meet the Telangana TDP leaders in Hyderabad on the second Saturday and Sunday of every month. He promised to work out a clear plan to keep the party relevant and battle-ready in Telangana.
Regarding the long-delayed appointment of the Telangana TDP chairman, Babu promised to get it done soon and confirmed that the search for the right leader has begun.
It is an undeniable fact that the local leadership of the TDP played a key role in the victory of the Congress here. People like Ponguleti Srinivas and Tummala Nageshwar have openly acknowledged and thanked the support of the TDP cadres here. And now Babu himself promising to bring back the good old days for the party could be a big deal.
Since the TDP already has an alliance with the BJP, it remains to be seen whether the party will join forces with the NDA or grow again as an independent force as it did before the split.
