Teaser for Xbox next-gen console shows graphics performance

The future of the Xbox is steadily taking shape, as this teaser for the next-gen console shows in detail.

Xbox fans may be wondering if the Xbox has a bright future ahead of it. However, we doubt they will be wondering how busy the Xbox will be.

Not only does this next-generation teaser hint at the power of the new hardware, there are also reports that Microsoft is working on a handheld device.

“The biggest technological leap you’ve ever seen in a hardware generation,” Xbox promised its consumers.

That’s quite a statement, and yet Microsoft seems secretly convinced that it can deliver on it.

While we can only speculate about what it will look like or what games will be released, Xbox is already hiring engineers for various positions across the company.

Many excerpts from these job postings provide clues to the brand’s overall plans, but perhaps the most revealing is the job posting for Xbox Graphics.

“The Xbox Graphics team is looking for talented engineers who are passionate about working on cutting-edge graphics, compression and emulation systems (…) Working closely with hardware engineers and game developers, we are defining the future of graphics and game development.”

Although it is not specified that the successful candidate will work on the successor to the Series X, the “we define the future” suggests that the employees will help enable the promised technological leap.

Of course, these roles could also apply to the handheld device mentioned earlier, or perhaps to another project that we know little about.

In any case, Microsoft’s goal is to deliver the very best graphical development.

If it achieves its goal, we are sure that we will still need help for years to come to optimize our gaming experience.

Finally, Xbox Series X users are just realizing that they have been using the wrong graphics settings all this time.

Setting the bar for graphics performance will be a learning curve not only for Xbox, but for us as well.
