Tesla has updated its Cybertruck Foundation Series order page. With the update, customers placing an order for the limited-edition all-electric pickup truck can now choose between two wheel options – the classic Cyber Wheels with all-terrain tires and the new Core Wheels with all-season tires.
While the Tesla Cybertruck Foundation Series Cyber Wheels with all-terrain tires perfectly match the aesthetics of the all-electric pickup truck, they aren’t necessarily the best when it comes to maximizing range. With the Cyber Wheels, the Cybertruck All-Wheel Drive (AWD) Foundation Series is rated at an estimated range of 318 miles. With the Core Wheels, the Cybertruck AWD Foundation Series gets an estimated range of 340 miles, according to the vehicle’s order page.
It should be noted that the Core Wheels are only available on the Cybertruck AWD Foundation Series. The Cyberbeast Foundation Series, which has an estimated range of 301 miles, is only available with Cyber Wheels with all-terrain tires.
Sightings of Cybertruck AWD Foundation Series units with Core Wheels have been reported on social media, and some images of the new wheel and tire combination have been shared on the r/Cybertruck subreddit. As can be seen in the images, the Cybertruck Core Wheels are fitted with Pirelli Scorpion ATR tires that appear to be made specifically for the vehicle, as indicated by the word “CYBRTRK” on the sidewall of the tires.

Although the Cybertruck is designed to be as rugged as possible, many of the all-electric pickup’s customers are drivers who are likely to spend most of their time in the city, or at least on paved roads. With such drivers, the Core Wheels could prove very popular with their increased range and comfort. After all, the Cybertruck was already praised for its comfort when it was only available with off-road tires. That praise will likely become even more evident with the Core Wheels as an option.
