Why is Elin Hilderbrand retiring from writing?

Did you panic when you read the headlines about retirement? Don’t worry, the news isn’t *as* bad as it sounds.

Hilderbrand does not completely retire from writing – but she Is Stay away from books that focus on Nantucket.

“I’ve reached a certain standard. And maintaining that standard is really challenging. The reason I’m retiring is because I know that’s not sustainable. And that will be it. It’s an enormous satisfaction to say, ‘OK, Swan Song is my last novel set on Nantucket,'” Hilderbrand previously told Today.

What is Elin Hilderbrand’s most popular book?

Really? Do you think we can answer that? The truth is that Hilderbrand’s fans are very divided when it comes to picking a favorite, and so are we. Looking at Goodreads’ stats, “The Hotel Nantucket” was the most read, but “Summer of ’69,” “28 Summers,” and her latest book, “Swan Song,” all received the highest ratings. But “The Perfect Couple” is getting the Netflix treatment, and if you ask this journalist, “The Paradise Series” is top-notch.
