Written by Ryan Cady with art by Al Barrionuevo, Andres Ponce, and Brushu Studio, this issue is essentially “RESURGENCE #0” as it brings together many of the event’s key players just before the crossover launches later in September.
“The goal of The Valiant was to both introduce new readers to the Valiant universe and give our longtime fans a chance to see characters who haven’t been in the game for a while,” explained Alien Books Editor-in-Chief Lysa Hawkins. “The Valiants #4 ends right where RESURGENCE #1 begins on September 18th, so it’s something of a prelude to the universe-shattering events of Resurgence. We can’t wait to hear everyone’s thoughts when the event begins in just a few weeks!”
