2024 marks the 40th anniversary Nightmare on Elm Street. For this reason Freddy Krueger was spoiled with some new promotions, clothing collections and the original Wes Craven classic is finally coming to 4K later this year. However, there are some sequels to the franchise that are just as popular as Freddy’s first nightmareAt the top of this list is Nightmare on Elm Street 3: The Dream WarriorsNow the 1987 installment is getting a new, haunting collection of Cavity paints.
The collection includes two stunning designs. The main Dream Warrior The design features stunning artwork by Devon Whitehead depicting the man of our nightmares, Freddy Krueger, watching over the fan-favorite “Dream Warriors.”This team consists of Patricia Arquette‘s Kristen, Ken Sagoes‘Roland, Jennifer Rubin‘s Taryn and Ira Heiden‘s Will are all ready for battle in their dream attire. The image is capped off by the sequel’s iconic tagline: “If you think you’re ready for Freddy, think again.” The design will be available as a t-shirt and zip-up hoodie. However, it will also be featured on the Cavity Colors poster for the collection. The final “Retro Horror” design is covered with typical images and marketing elements from the film, including Freddy’s infamous TV murder. There will be both a long sleeve and a tie-dye t-shirt. The long sleeve version will feature additional graphics on the sleeves.

While Nightmare on Elm Street was the defining horror film of the 80s and triggered the “Freddy-Mania” hype, its sequel in 1985 Freddy’s Revenge was probably as forgettable as it could be at the time, despite its current reassessment and its strong queer undertones. Dream Warrior is what made Freddy a franchise name. The return Main characters from the first film such as Heather Langenkamp’s Nancy Thompson and John Saxon’s Donald Thompson alongside Robert Englund’s Freddyit was a sequel before this style of storytelling became popular decades later. With a mix of fresh meat and established storylines, Dream Warrior pushed Elm Street‘s lore in a pretty convincing way. It would also serve as a blueprint for the next few sequelswhich skilfully mixes creative murders with atmospheric horror and kitschy humor.
Nightmare on Elm Street 3: The Dream Warriors is not currently available on any streaming service, but can be rented on all major VOD platforms such as Fandango at Home. The Original Nightmare on Elm Street will also be streamed on AMC+. “Buy … or die!” by Cavity Colors Dream Warrior The collection is available for pre-order now on their website and will be available until Monday, August 12th at 1:00pm EST and will be sold out forever after that. A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: The Return of the Superheroes (1987)
In Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors, Freddy Krueger returns to torment the last surviving children of Elm Street in their dreams. This time, the teens are joined by Nancy Thompson, who helps them use their dream powers to fight back. Together, they must face their deepest fears to defeat Freddy once and for all.
