READING Festival fans were unimpressed when Lana Del Rey’s set was cut short yesterday after she arrived late for her performance.
Thousands flocked to the main stage at 8pm to see the 39-year-old Summertime Sadness singer perform at Little John’s Farm on Saturday night.
However, Lana arrived late on stage, so she did not have the planned hour and 15 minutes of her performance.
Their set ended with the next Law could appear in time.
DJ Fred He started his set again at 10:05 p.m.
Many expressed the same thing on social media.

One person said on X, formerly known as Twitter: “Nah, how could Lana be 20 minutes late and only play 40 minutes of a set.”
Another wrote on the platform at 8:06 p.m.: “Lana honey where are you xx.”
A third chimed in: “I love Lana del Rey, but yes, of course you get interrupted if you’re 25 minutes late on stage. She obviously hasn’t learned anything from Glasto.”
“Girl where is Lana #ReadingFestival,” wrote a fourth person last night at 8:08 p.m.
A fifth wrote on Instagram: “You interrupted her because she was late, but at 8pm you were still setting up her stage? It’s not her fault.”
Another added: “You must know that we do not forgive you for cutting off contact with her.”
A seventh said: “The ending was a total mess. I’m glad I saw her in Hyde Park last year but honestly we can’t blame the festivals for cutting the set short because she was late. It’s disappointing.”
Others were absolutely thrilled with their performance.

A second commented: “JUST WOW!!!”
“She is an absolute dream,” said another.
Artists such as Raye, Bleachers and Courting also took to the festival’s main stage yesterday.
The festival in Reading and Leeds began on August 21st and ends later today.
Music fans in the north can enjoy the performances at Bramham Park near Wetherby.
It is not the first time that Lana has arrived late on stage.
The star was booed by the crowd at Glastonbury in 2023 after arriving 30 minutes late for her headlining performance.
The Mirror reported that angry festival-goers booed the 38-year-old when she finally arrived for her performance.
One complained: “This is messing up everyone’s evening plans as there are other late night acts to see after her!”
After entering the stage, Lana apologized to her fans.
She said: “I was so damn late that I’m going to rush this set today. If they Performancethen they turn off the power and then I feel damn sorry.
“My hair take so long. Let’s make the set the way it should be.”
