The iPhone 16 Pro will be launched in Apple’s new special color “Desert Titanium” and will replace last year’s Blue Titanium

Apple’s iPhone 16 launch is less than 30 days away, and a new rumor suggests that the company will hold its September 10 event with a tagline that complements the much-anticipated record button. However, the new buttons aren’t the only aspect of the devices we’re excited about, as the visual changes also play a major role. It is now reported that Apple’s upcoming iPhone 16 Pro models will come in a new bronze color option called Desert Titanium.

Apple’s Blue Titanium color is replaced by “Desert Titanium” on the iPhone 16 Pro

It was previously reported that Apple’s iPhone 16 Pro models would have a pink color, but it was believed to be a pink color and not a rustic shade. Later, a leaked image revealed that the color would be brown rather than pink, bringing us back to our initial speculations. Tipster Majin Bu now claims that the iPhone 16 Pro’s bronze color will be called “Desert Titanium” and will feature rustic tones, similar to a dark gold color option. Apple didn’t release a gold iPhone last year, and the closest it got was the Natural Titanium option, which was more white than gold.

It seems that the company is experimenting with the gold tones, and this year Apple has opted for a bolder color option. Majin Bu further clarified, “The Desert Titanium color is a kind of dark gold, similar to the old purple color, relatively subtle and deep.” He also claims that the iPhone 16 Pro’s Desert Titanium will be closer to the gold color option of the iPhone 14 Pro models, which was “deeper and bolder.”

The source also revealed the iPhone 16 Pro’s camera rings, which would be the same color as the frame or general design. The new color will replace the Blue Titanium color option that was available on the iPhone 15 Pro models last year. In total, the company will release four different colors this year, including black and white. As for the special colors, Desert Titanium would replace the Blue Titanium, while a new Gray color will replace the Natural Titanium color option.

We believe the grey color option is the safer bet for most people, but if users are interested in a slightly fancier device, Desert Titanium is the way to go. Apple introduces new color options every year and this goes hand in hand with its marketing campaigns. We’ll keep you updated on more details on the color, so stay tuned.
