It should come as no surprise that the Lamborghini Temerario is expensive, but a leaked version of the equipment list highlights the true absurdity of supercar pricing.

Lamborghini’s configurator for its Huracan successor, the electrified Temerario with twin-turbo V8 engine, is online, but the Bologna-based company has remained tight-lipped about pricing details for the new supercar. However, thanks to the kind folks at LamborghiniTalk.com, we can now take a closer look at some alleged pricing details for the Temerario.

The base Temerario model will start at $357,621, plus a $4,000 delivery fee, making it $361,621. To upgrade to the Allegrita trim, aimed at track fans and weight fanatics, prospective buyers will have to pay at least $45,000 extra, plus $26,200 for the weight reduction and hot carbon fiber wheels. That makes a minimum price of around $433,000 for the track-focused version, excluding special paint jobs.

Color choice seems to be a big selling point for Lamborghini buyers, as the leaked pricing document contains four pages dedicated solely to paint options, and some of them are shockingly expensive. While seven “base” colors are free, the cost of customizing your Temerario ranges from $9,600 to $16,500, depending on the paint style and the rarity of the color. In particular, certain matte finishes like Blu Grifo or Verde Turbine cost $16,500, while custom colors cost between $23,600 and $32,700.

The customization options don’t stop there, with Lamborghini offering things like $1,900 paint jobs for brake calipers and $4,000 carbon fiber mirror caps. If you ditch your Temerario’s front splitter and opt for the lift system, you’ll have to shell out another $4,000, while a pair of sports seats will set you back an extra $8,100. Thankfully, the fire extinguisher mount (exclusive to the Temerario) costs a reasonable $800.

Compared to the outgoing Huracan, the base model of the Temerario costs around $24,000 more than its predecessor. However, an analysis of the equipment lists of the outgoing and new models shows similar prices, suggesting that the main reason for the Temerario’s cost increase is its all-new design. In addition to the higher base cost, potential Temerario buyers in the US must reckon with a gas guzzler tax, which is typically $2,000 to $4,000 for such supercars.
