The journey back to Middle Earth continues with the second season of “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power”.

Season 2 of the series, set hundreds of years before the events of JRR Tolkien’s epic Lord of the Rings films and book series, will be available to stream again on Prime Video this month.

The dark lord Sauron has returned this season, working to restore his power and oversee the creation of the titular Rings of Power. This season will once again feature the many people who inhabit Middle Earth, including elves, dwarves, orcs, humans, and Harfoots. Season 1 premiered in 2022.

“Building on the epic scope and ambition of the first season, the new season plunges even its most beloved and vulnerable characters into a rising tide of darkness, challenging everyone to find their place in a world increasingly on the brink of disaster,” Prime Video said in a press release.
