The next step in building NFL rosters after Tuesday’s cut deadline to get to 53 players is waiver filing. Between cuts Tuesday at 4 p.m. ET and Wednesday at noon ET, players can file waiver requests for ineligible veterans who were cut.
Teams will be awarded the players they claim, provided no team with a higher priority in the waiver order also claims him.
The waiver order is based on the order of the 2024 NFL Draft, which means the Arizona Cardinals are on the list. They are fourth in waiver priority.
Only the Carolina Panthers, Washington Commanders and New England Patriots have a higher priority.
