X-Men, NYX, X-Force, Ultimate X-Men, Marvel’s 85th Anniversary, Aliens Vs Avengers and X-Men: From The Ashes Infinity all release this week.
This is the kind of X-Men crossover I really like. No big explosions, no huge splash pages, no cosmic disasters, but a phone call. Between Cyclops and Rogue. A call from one comic to the next. Today’s X-Men #3 to Uncanny X-Men No. 2 in two weeks, on September 11th.
But it also leads to something bigger… a real comic book crossover that’s more than just a phone call or two.
Rogue moves on to Graymalkin, Cable’s former sentient orbiting space station that is now a prison for mutants. Bleeding Cool has already reported on the Raid On Graymalkin crossover, which launches in December…
However, there may be worse plans, as X-Force was planning their own raid on Wakanda to continue their MacGuffin quest.
However, it turned out to be a good decision…
…because nobody wants to go through all that again, right? Laura Kinney’s Wolverine also goes to dangerous places.
One is actually called “The Danger Room.” Yes, I can still sight read Krakoan. I’m glad it still has a purpose.
“Respect this holy land” “Whatever, man”… is Richard Starking’Is Elephantman now a mutated bouncer from New York?
Of course, he may not be as dangerous as this Wolverine claims to be.
And while X-Force brings the past back to life…
Quite a lot from the past…
Marvel’s 85th anniversary looks to the future of the X-Men legacy… well, finally one of them.
It turns out you can never get rid of Deadpool and Wolverine, not even in the 85th century.
While Jonathan Hickman And Esad Ribic In Avengers vs. Aliens There is another version of the mutant story that is taking place.
As the multiverse continues to expand, this may be the first chronological use of the phrase 616 by the X-Men…
…and this could be the last time.
And as new The Ultimate X-Men collects…
There is always one bastard who is ready to say his opinion one last time…
But what does the immediate future of this continuity look like?
The current X-Men Unlimited Infinity series culminates in Sentinels No. 1 on October 9th…
