Wondering who Stimpy’s cartoon sidekick is? Not sure what ticket collectors eat? Don’t worry, because I’m here to help you with the answers for today’s NYT Mini Crossword puzzle.

The NYT Mini is a quick and easy version of the newspaper’s longer-running crossword. Most days there are between three and five clues in each direction on a 5×5 grid, but the puzzles are sometimes larger, especially on Saturdays.

In contrast to its bigger brother, the NYT Mini The crossword puzzle is free to play on the New York Times website or the NYT Games app, but you will need a NYT Games subscription to access previous puzzles in the archives.

To avoid getting stuck and having to look up missing letters, here is the NYT Mini Crossword answers for Saturday, August 10 (Of course there are spoilers):

It has me 2:18 to complete today’s NYT Mini. That’s a lot longer than I would have liked, even for the larger Saturday puzzle, but at least I didn’t have to look anything up.

I put it all together pretty slowly. The first answer to the horizontal line I got was FRISBEE, followed by EGO, which I thought was run (instead of LAM), and REN. CARRION, CHARGE, and OFFER were the only down clues I got on my first playthrough.

After figuring out that 3 Down was LEGIBLE, 11 Across had to be LAM. CAMEO probably should have clicked faster, and I am completely unfamiliar with The other sideso I had to rely on getting the other words as well.
