A spokesman for Scott confirmed Billboard that the rapper was released without charges. Sources close to the “Sicko Mode” rapper say there are no plans to press charges against him in the future and that no one was injured among those involved, including his security staff. Scott was swarmed by paparazzi in Paris and accused his security staff of not protecting him adequately.

Scott was arrested early Friday after police were called to the Georges V hotel to arrest a man “nicknamed Travis Scott for violence against a security guard,” according to a statement from the Paris prosecutor’s office.

Officials said the hotel’s security guard attempted to intervene in an argument between 33-year-old Scott (born Jacques Bermon Webster II) and his personal bodyguard in the early morning hours.

Scott was in Paris for the Olympic Games and was spotted at the US men’s basketball game, which featured All-Stars Steph Curry and LeBron James helped the experienced team to a thrilling comeback win against Serbia and secured the team’s ticket for the final on Saturday against France.

Scott is one of the biggest stars in hip hop. More than 100 of his songs have charted on the Billboard Hot 100, and four of his singles have reached the top of the charts: “Sicko Mode,” “Highest in the Room,” “The Scotts,” and “Franchise.”

He has two children with his ex-girlfriend, media personality and businesswoman Kylie Jenner.

In June, Scott was arrested in Miami Beach on charges of trespassing and public intoxication. Cops said they caught him shouting obscenities at people on a yacht in the city’s marina and refusing to comply with their orders to leave.
