Steps to Apply for TS SET Exam 2024

Anyone who wants to register for this government aptitude test can follow the steps below and easily fill out the registration form for the upcoming exam.

1. Open the official portal of Telangana State Eligibility Test-2024 namely www.telanganaset.org.

2. On the home screen, scroll down and find the Useful Links section.

3. Now in this section, click on the “Apply Online” tab. A new page will appear.

4. Read all the instructions on the screen and then click the “Apply Now” button.

5. Now start entering your name, parent’s name, category, date of birth, email ID, address, mobile number, educational qualifications, preferred exam centre, etc.

6. After entering all relevant information, create a password and then enter the security PIN displayed on the screen.

7. Click on the “Next” button and then upload the required documents including photograph, signature, caste certificate, etc. in a prescribed format.

8. Now pay the examination fee according to your specific category and submit the application form.

TS SET Exam Registration Fees 2024

Those who have to appear in Telangana State Aptitude Test will have to pay an examination fee while filling an application form which will not be refunded/adjusted in any case. Only online modes of payment will be accepted, payments through money order, IPO etc. will not be entertained. General category candidates have to pay Rs 2000 for the TS SET 2024 exam.

TS SET 2024 Participation Criteria

Those who want to appear for the TS SET exam need to meet some basic eligibility norms as prescribed in the TS SET Notification 2024. Only candidates who meet these requirements can appear in this government entrance test, otherwise they will be disqualified.

Training

Below we have listed some important educational qualifications that candidates need to acquire if they want to apply for assistant or lecturer posts in the universities and colleges in Telangana.

• Candidates are eligible to apply if they have secured 555 marks (without rounding) in a Master’s degree (MA, M.Sc., M.Com., MBA, MLISC, M.Ed., M.PEd., MCJ, LLM, MCA and M.Tech (CSE & IT only)).
• Candidates from the Backward Classes (BC), Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability (PwD) categories who have achieved at least 50% of the marks (without rounding) in their Master’s degree are also eligible to participate.
• Holders of a Ph.D. who passed their Master’s examination before September 19, 1991 (regardless of the date of announcement of the results) may benefit from a reduction of the overall grade of 5%, or a reduction from 55% to 50%, for participation in the SET.
• Candidates who are completing their Master’s degree program, candidates who have taken their Master’s degree (final year) final examination and whose result is still pending or candidates whose final examinations have been delayed can also apply for this TS SET 2024 exam.

Age limit

The examination authorities have not fixed any age limit for the TS SET exam. Candidates just need to fulfill the educational requirements irrespective of the upper age limit to appear for the Telangana State Eligibility Test.

TS SET Exam Pattern 2024

The TS SET exam 2024 includes two exams, namely Exam I and Exam II, which are taken in a single session lasting 3 hours (180 minutes). Anyone who wants to take part in this exam must familiarize themselves with the exam pattern in order to get a better idea of ​​the exam.

• Each question is worth 2 points, meaning candidates receive +2 points for each correct answer in both exams.
• In both Exam I and Exam II there will only be objective questions.
• Answering all questions is mandatory in both exams.
• The TS SET exam is conducted as a computer-based test (CBT).
• The examination language is bilingual, i.e. English and Telugu.
