UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist Main Result 2024: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the result of the Geoscientist Combined Main Examination 2024. The candidates who appeared in the Geoscientist Combined Main Examination 2024 can check the result on the official website. upsc.gov.inThe combined main examination for geoscientists took place on 22 and 23 June.

According to UPSC, 110 candidates have been recommended for the posts of Geologist, Hydrogeology – 14, Geophysicist – 31, Chemist/Chemist – 39. The candidates will be called for the interview soon, the schedule will be published on the official website. upsc.gov.in.

The selected candidates will have to produce the original certificates at the time of personality test. “The candidature of such candidates will be PROVISIONAL provided they are found suitable in all respects. The candidates will have to produce the original certificates in support of their claims related to age, educational qualification, community, physical disability, EWS etc. at the time of personality test,” the UPSC notification said.

UPSC also asked the candidates to fill the Detailed Application Form (DAF) once it is available on the official website. “The instructions for filling the DAF are available on the website along with the rules of Combined Geoscientist Examination 2024 and must be read carefully with regard to the original certificates to be produced at the time of interview. The candidate will be solely responsible if he fails to produce enough valid proofs of his age, date of birth, educational qualifications, caste (SC/ST/OBC), EWS status and physical disability status. The qualified candidates will have to bring all the original certificates for verification during the interview/personality test,” the UPSC notification said.

The mark sheet of the candidates will be available on the Commission website within 15 days of the release of the final result. Candidates can download their mark sheets from the official website. upsc.gov.in.
