Iga Swiatek, Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner headline the second day of action at the US Open as the first round continues.
Swiatek and Alcaraz won the 2022 US Open and return to New York as favorites for the last Grand Slam of the year.
Alcaraz has won the titles at Roland Garros and Wimbledon and the Spaniard insists he is ready despite a worrying ankle sprain in training.
Meanwhile, his young rival Sinner arrives at Flushing Meadows suspected of having failed two doping tests, although he has been cleared of any guilt.
