Max Verstappen says Red Bull needs to be “realistic” after suffering a heavy defeat at the hands of Lando Norris in qualifying for the Dutch Grand Prix.

Norris set a time of 1:09.673 towards the end of Q3, displacing provisional pole sitter Verstappen, who had moved above Norris and Oscar Piastri after the first Q3 runs.

Hamilton penalized after incident in qualifying

Lewis Hamilton was given a three-place grid penalty for the Dutch Grand Prix following a meeting with the F1 commissioners in Zandvoort.

The Mercedes driver was dragged before the race control after he apparently impeded Sergio Perez at Turn 9 in Q1 when Perez was doing a flying lap.

Albon disqualified after violation in qualifying for the Dutch GP

Alex Albon was disqualified from qualifying for the Dutch Grand Prix after his underbody was found to be in breach of technical regulations.

The Williams driver finished Q3 in an impressive eighth place, his best qualifying result of the season.

Report: Williams considers replacing Sargeant ahead of Italian GP

Brown addresses Norris’ “weakness” ahead of battle with Verstappen

McLaren Racing CEO Zak Brown said it was crucial for Lando Norris not to “overthink” his race starts. The British driver started from pole position at the Dutch Grand Prix.

The American believes that if you talk too much about something that is gradually being perceived as a weakness – as the 24-year-old himself called it – you run the risk of making an issue out of it.
