Voyager fan draws amazing Little Voyager and Little Prodigy comics

A Star Trek fan known online as @lilvoyagercomics has combined his love of Star Trek: Voyager “with a dash of other Treks,” according to his Instagram bio, and turned it into a weekly creative love story. A new comic comes out every Sunday, mostly focusing on Captain Kathryn Janeway and the members of her crew aboard Voyager. But the comics have expanded to include characters from Star Trek: Prodigy.

With a dose of wry humor, these comics are sure to bring a smile to the face of any Voyager and Prodigy fan, especially those who have been yearning for a romantic relationship between Captain Janeway (Kate Mulgrew) and Commander Chakotay (Robert Beltran) for nearly thirty years. The artist also pokes fun at some episodes of Voyager that just scream humor, like the embarrassing “Threshold.” Can you imagine one of the baby lizards following Janeway in a desperate attempt to catch up with mommy?

And if you haven’t seen Prodigy yet, you’ll want to watch it after you see Janeway and Chakotay in the Mirror Universe. In a comic on a dating show, Janeway is shown to have a hard time choosing between Chakotay from the Mirror Universe and Chakotay from Voyager.

First published in 2021, these posts continue to be fun, with over thirty of them currently available to enjoy, like this one poking fun at the Doctor’s line borrowed from Dr. Leonard “Bones” McCoy from Star Trek: The Original Series.

This is truly an amazing talent and I wanted to include so many of the other comics! But you’ll have to head over to @lilvoyagercomics to check them out for yourself. They’re good for a chuckle and a walk down memory lane with some of your favorite Star Trek characters! You can also follow the artist on Twitter/X @cptn_sh. Enjoy!
