The Democratic Party Convention ends on Thursday evening after four days of speeches and appearances in support of candidate Kamala Harris.
There were appearances and speeches by former Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton, former First Lady Michelle Obama and basketball coach Steve Kerr, among others. Tonight is the final night of the convention, and Harris is expected to take the stage to accept the nomination toward the end of the evening.

When will Kamala Harris speak at the DNC?
The exact timing of Harris’ speech has not been announced, but it will likely occur during the evening’s main program, which begins at 5:30 p.m. and ends at 10 p.m. CDT. Her speech will close the evening.
On which channel is the DNC broadcast?
- C-SPAN will conduct the entire conference without interruption.
- CBS NewsCoverage of the convention will air in prime time from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Eastern Time and will be hosted by CBS Evening News anchor and editor-in-chief Norah O’Donnell.
- ABC News will air for two hours in prime time from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. ET. ABC News Live, the network’s streaming news channel, will stream the coverage in prime time from 7 p.m. to midnight.
- Fox News will present a one-hour special titled “Fox News Democracy 2024: The Democratic National Convention,” co-hosted by Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum, through 10 p.m. ET on Thursday.
- CNN will offer live on-air coverage nearly 24 hours a day, including special live coverage from 8 p.m. to midnight Eastern Time with “CNN Democratic National Convention.”
- News Nation will have a primetime special coverage titled “Decision Desk 2024: The Democratic National Convention” from 8 p.m. to midnight Eastern Time. Co-anchors are Chris Cuomo, Elizabeth Vargas and Leland Vittert.
- NBC News will broadcast the convention on its streaming platform NBC News Now as part of its “Decision 2024” program. The coverage will air Wednesday and Thursday from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. According to the New York Times, Lester Holt and Savannah Guthrie will be the moderators.
- MSNBC will broadcast special coverage from 8 p.m. to midnight and live stream all four days of the convention on its YouTube channel, the New York Times reports.
