Who did the audience nominate after the American veto was activated and who was eliminated?

SPOILER ALERT: This article contains details about Big Brother Season 26, Episode 11, aired Thursday, August 8.

Big Brother Season 26 sent shockwaves throughout the house, leaving housemates baffled by the power plays of nominated contestant Tucker Des Lauriers and Head of Household Cedric Hodges.

This week’s list included Des Lauriers, Angela Murray and Kenney Kelley. However, Des Lauriers had veto power and could withdraw himself or any of his co-nominees from the list.

Des Lauriers had indicated that he was “bored” with the gameplay and wanted to shake things up and expose one of the housemates with a power in the game. He would take a fellow contestant off the block and have HOH Hodges nominate the replacement contestant to use his power.

Before the Veto Ceremony, Des Lauriers and Hodges agreed to use their veto and appoint Quinn Martin as the replacement candidate, exposing his deep fake HOH power, which allows him to hijack the current HOH’s nominations and make them his own.

Des Lauriers used his veto power on Murray and took her off the block.

However, Hodges had another plan for his own game and appointed Makensy Manbeck as the replacement. Manbeck had the US veto power, which gave her the opportunity to withdraw from the race and allow America to choose the replacement candidate.

Des Lauriers felt deeply betrayed by Hodges’ move and plunged the house into chaos by openly declaring war on the two.
