Pamela Anderson leaves her past behind.
The 57-year-old blonde bombshell did not take part in the new four-part Hulu docuseries about “Baywatch,” the show that made her famous around the world in the 1990s.
“After Baywatch: Moment in the Sun” features new interviews about the series and its legacy with many former cast members – except Anderson.
According to TMZ, Anderson was asked to participate in the documentary, but she declined.
Insiders claim she has “no grudges” against her former co-stars and has “always enjoyed” her role as CJ Parker.
However, Anderson is currently “in a different chapter of her life,” the insiders said, adding that she is focused on the bigger opportunities that have come her way.
Anderson has been busy with two new films coming out soon.
She stars in The Last Showgirl, a drama film that premieres at the Toronto Film Festival on September 6. Her co-stars include Jamie Lee Curtis, Dave Bautista, Brenda Song and Kiernan Shipka.
Anderson will also star in the fifth “The Naked Gun” film alongside Liam Neeson, Paul Walter Hauser and Kevin Durand. The film is scheduled to be released in 2025.
The mother of two has already spoken about her life in her Netflix documentary “Pamela: A Love Story” and her memoir “Love, Pamela,” both of which were released last year.
Although Anderson turned down the “Baywatch” documentary, unpublished interviews with the actress will also play an important role in the project.
The second episode of the documentary series, titled “Show Me the Money,” is all about Anderson and how she contributed to the success of “Baywatch.”
The episode description reads: “How a young, blonde bombshell helps make ‘Baywatch’ an international hit. Her name: Pamela Anderson.”
Not surprisingly, Anderson’s leaked 1996 sex tape with Tommy Lee was a major topic in the documentary series.
Michael Berk, co-creator and producer of “Baywatch,” said the actress was almost written out of the series because of the infamous scandal.
“When Pam’s sex tape came out, the studio said, ‘Look, write her out of a few episodes, we have to figure out what to do with this, this is a disaster,'” Berk recalls.
However, the sex tape actually helped increase Baywatch’s ratings, Berk said, which is why Anderson kept her job.
In one of her unaired interviews, Anderson said of the scandal: “It was stolen property. It was two completely naked people making love. We were naked the whole time and filming each other and doing silly nonsense.”
“But those recordings were not intended for anyone else,” added the Home Improvement alumnus. “I haven’t seen them to this day, it was very hurtful.”
Anderson also skipped the red carpet premiere of the documentary on Monday night in Santa Monica. Her former co-stars Carmen Electra, Nicole Eggert, Alexandra Paul, Jeremy Jackson, Brandy Ledford, David Chokachi and others were back at the event.
David Hasselhoff, who played Mitch Buchannon, also did not appear, but appears in the documentary series in old interviews he conducted for “Baywatch: The Documentary.”
“After Baywatch: Moment in the Sun” is streaming on Hulu.
