Here’s why this happened and why it’s only a temporary measure…
A new, updated comments section is on the way…
As many readers know, we have been using a platform called Vuukle for many years, but along with all other sites in the Planet Sport network, we are moving to a new platform called Viafoura. Live blogs will also be added to the site. The launch of this platform will take place in the next few days.
For now, we are a platform for comments, but soon you will be able to post comments and talk about all things F1 again. Thank you for your patience!
What can you tell me about the new commenting system?
Well, first of all, It is completely free to use. But once the story is live, all users will be required to register and log in to comment on sites within the Planet Sport network. This will be done in accordance with our website’s Terms & Conditions and Privacy Notice.
Key features and benefits of creating an account (when we’re live!)
– Comments can be edited or deleted up to five minutes after they are published
– All of your community settings can be accessed via the notification bell, which is present in both the comments section and the sticky header display. In this bar, you can:
– See your comment history and all users you follow/who follow you
– Follow/unfollow users
– Mute user
– See where conversations are most active
– Get notified when someone replies or likes your comment.
– Get notifications when a user you follow posts comments
– Get notifications when there is new activity in a conversation you are following
– Enable email notifications to receive an email when someone replies to your comment
