A Woodbridge man faces child neglect and other charges after police found several unsecured weapons within reach of his two children in his North Woodbridge home, police said.
As part of an ongoing investigation, Prince William County police obtained a search warrant for the man’s home in the 13200 block of Hill Court in North Woodbridge and found several of the man’s unsecured firearms in the home, according to Master Police Officer Renee Carr, a spokeswoman for the Prince William County Police Department.
Officers also discovered that two of the defendant’s children, a 2-year-old girl and a 12-year-old boy, lived in the home and had access to the firearms, Carr said in a news release.
