Zionist-Nazi forces issue evacuation order for Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Hospital in Deir al-Balah

GAZA, August 26, 2024 (Saba) – Zionist forces have issued an evacuation order for the area around Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Hospital in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza.

The order, which concerns the facility supported by Doctors Without Borders, sparked widespread panic after an explosion about 250 meters away.

MSF is currently considering suspending its wound care, but intends to continue life-saving treatments despite the chaos.

According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the hospital, which is well beyond its capacity, is currently housing about 100 patients, including seven in intensive care.

The organization described the situation as unbearable and stressed that the hospital was stretched beyond its limits because there were no alternatives for patients.

The group called on all warring parties to respect the hospital and ensure that patients receive medical care.

Due to the evacuation orders, hundreds of thousands of displaced people were left with only a meager “humanitarian zone” of 41 square kilometers as a place of refuge.

The Gaza Strip Health Ministry has issued an urgent appeal to protect Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Hospital, its patients and staff, in light of Israel’s evacuation order for the surrounding area.
