Zomato introduces order scheduling feature

Food delivery platform Zomato has introduced a new feature that allows customers to schedule their food orders up to two days in advance.

This new feature is now available in several major Indian cities.

Zomato founder and CEO Deepinder Goyal shared the news on social media.

Initially, the feature will be available for orders of ₹1,000 and above at around 13,000 restaurants in Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Lucknow and Jaipur.

Goyal also mentioned that the company plans to expand this feature to all order values ​​in the future and increase both the number of participating restaurants and the cities where the service is available.

“Update: You can now schedule orders on Zomato. Plan your meals better by ordering up to 2 days in advance and we deliver on time. Currently, scheduling is available for orders above Rs 1,000 across around 13,000 outlets in Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Lucknow and Jaipur,” he wrote on X.

“These restaurants have always had large quantities of dishes in stock and consistent preparation times in the kitchen. More restaurants and cities are joining. We will soon expand this to all orders,” he added.
